Perth property prices have clearly suffered on the back of the mining slowdown and the resulting reduced population inflow.
But it isn’t necessarily bad news…
Coupled with the current low interest rates, low property prices provide an opportune platform for Generation ‘Y’ to accumulate wealth over the long term.
An entry point is vital in any investment. I personally believe that the next 6 to 12 months will be a great time to enter the market. This is especially evident when the current property market is compared to that of the last 3 to 5 years.
